Strange Electrical Phenomenon

My optical mouse is attached to my PC which is turned off but plugged in to the mains with switch turned on.

Now When I turn the tube light on, the mouse’s red light flickrs in complete synchronization with the light’s flickering.
Weird.

Any explanations?

probably there is not proper grounding in your computer and current flows through your mouse and the eddy currents caused by switching on the tube light causes that fluctuations synchronously in the mouse
