2/2/12

I have now played lawn Tennis for a total of 3 days. I must say it’s a rather hard game to play but is a lot of fun at the same time. Me and Tennis partner, though are a very lazy bunch of guys. What ought to have been a very difficult and exhausting game is proving easier than Badminton (thanks only to the way we play.) Nevertheless, I like it more than badminton. No fucking wind can blow a ball away. My wrist is really hurting. I wonder if there is also a Tennis wrist syndrome since my elbow certainly seems fine.

Anyway, tomorrow I may not be able to go since I need to go to Ashwin’s place. Feel like taking a bath right now but it’s 3:30 am here. I should be going to sleep but am hungry. Oh and by the way, I am extremely inspired by Code Academy and am thinking of taking it one step further (Yeah right :P ). If you are a UI/UX expert then do get in touch. I have everything in my mind conceptually. In fact, I can do without the UX guy but UI will be important. Needs a graphics artist with some awesome skill.

PS: Saw Ra One the other day. I am happy I did not go to the theatres to watch it. I was very disappointed with the film. It was a B movie. A wasted opportunity but thanks only to the super talentless director. Kanti Shah might have done a better job. Prior to this, I was a big SRK (the person’s) fan. Not anymore.

Brandy

Had a nice time at Avnish’s place. Finally managed to “make frandship” with Brandy the Boxer. It’s a terrifying beast who will scare the shit out of you. Yesterday he was eating out of my hands. (He’s fond of Parle G). But the son of some bitch kept on perambulating from here to there and whenever he passed by me, he always licked my right hand. It was funny and disgusting at the same time. The guy is also very fond of back massages.

My fear of dogs is going away now. It was incredible how Brandy managed to eat a biscuit off my hands without once touching my hand with his teeth. Mostly I did it only because I trusted my friend Avnish, and not so much his brother (the dog). I will admit, it was blind faith from my side and nothing else. In life, if you want to get out of your comfort zone, you’ve gotta trust people at some stage. I will be really sad to see Brandy depart when he ultimately does. In terms of humans, he’s an 85 year old man. But that’s life.
